Title : Business Analyst with strong Cognos knowledge Location : Kalamazoo, MI Length : 6 Months This position will be for a Business and Systems Analyst for the Chromatography Data System(CDS) Interface. This person will be responsible for the configuration, testing and implementation of the Chromatography to LAS interface and the MAPS to LAS interface. Required skills/experience/education: Candidate will have a minimum 2 - 4 years of experience with software integration and configuration, technical writing, attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate and work effectively with internal customers, management, and IT staff in person, over the phone, and through e-mail; good decision making and problem solving skills; ability to work with vendor supplied software packages; structured work habits; strong organization skills. Desired skills/experience/education: Familiarity with ABI's SQL*LIMS and SQL*QA software and data ! model. Familiarity with laboratory processes and chromatography syste! ms very desirable. Strong knowledge of computer validation and familiarity with cGXP regulations; knowledge of pharmaceutical QA/QC laboratory business processes. Strong COGNOS knowledge would be a plus.
