Send the resume/Rate and Contact Info. * * *DB2 DBA Duration: 6 Months Location: Warren, NJ* The person should be a Hard Core DBA who will be Responsible for the production and support operations of the marketing database including performance monitoring, workload prioritization, ongoing capacity planning for existing workloads, database software upgrades, trouble shooting, storage layouts, production analysation of load jobs, regular reporting activities, and other database workloads critical to production operations of the marketing databases. Responsible for working with marketing knowledge workers to understand data, reporting, and analysis requirements for particular business requirements and translating the reporting and analysis requirements into a data model, working closely with the logical data modeler. Responsible for implementing programs for acquiring data from the source systems, cleansing and transforming the data to a format appropriate for use in decision-making, and loading it into the target database structures. Responsible for Creating indexes, materialized query tables, configuration parameters, and capacity planning for particular business requirements.
