Responsible for working with marketing knowledge workers to understand data, reporting, and analysis requirements for particular business requirements and translating the reporting and analysis requirements into a data model, working closely with the logical data modeler. Responsible for implementing programs for acquiring data from the source systems, cleansing and transforming the data to a format appropriate for use in decision-making, and loading it into the target database structures. Responsible for Creating indexes, materialized query tables, configuration parameters, and capacity planning for particular business requirements.
