We Ling Technologies, Inc one of the fastest growing IT Consulting Company in US. We have an urgent requirement with our client/Preferred Vendor. The job details are given below. Title : Unix Admin Location : Secaucus, New Jersey Length : 6months MUST Have Experience listed below -- 1. UNIX 10 2. Sun Solaris 6/6 version 3. Experience with "containers" [which should sound very familiar if they know UNIX/Solaris platforms]. 4. Sun Enterprise Storage 69.20 [Storage experience very important] 5. In terms of Hardware, must have experience working with big boxes, and have the SUN experience. Current environment: SUN Solaris UNIX 10 version 06/06 on a SUN Sun Fire 6940 platform. They are also using containers to provide additional environments for BI functionality along with testing environments. These are interconnected through Q-logic fiber switches to a SUN Storage Edge and a Storage Tek 6500. SGD (Sun Secure Global Desktop) is our access method and we utilize VERITAS Enterprise Net backup. These are the key systems and platforms. It is critical in nature that we find a suitable candidate quickly. Must have Unix 10 (SUN Solaris), VERITAS Enterprise backup.
