Position: SOA ARCHITECT Location: NYC, New York Duration: 6 Months Sr. SOA Architect Skills (1) SOA is Service Oriented Architecture -Drive requirements, design and selection of an SOA architectural environment. -Define and enterprise SOA blueprint which supports mission critical solutions for both enterprise and line of business requirements -Develop and maintain SOA governance processes, registry/repository standards, performance models, costing models and metrics ensuring architecture compliance -Serve as technical leader for enterprise SOA projects and initiatives -Able to influence the application development teams to design and build quality solutions within the standard SOA architecture -Establish SOA education and training program to increase the SOA adoption rate within the enterprise -Identify enterprise level SOA opportunities and associated roadmaps to support desired business shifts -! ! Provide consulting expertise to various IT teams on SOA projects -Provide subject matter expertise and participate in the development of an enterprise architecture framework Competencies --10+ years IT Experience with 7+ technical expertise in designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions -Hand-on experience as an SOA architect -Proven track record of establishing a common SOA vision -Experience in designing and blueprinting SOA solutions with both in-house developed and COTS applications -Expert in SOA based technologies provided by vendors such as Microsoft, ORACLE, Oracle Apps Siebel, and Financial & People soft. -Strong architecture skills with an understanding and/or development experience in XML, SOAP, UDDI, J2EE, .Net, WS-security, ITIL processes, SOA governance, Web service!
