Business Analyst II - Oracle Projects Modules Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 6 Months Rate : $ 55/Hr CTC IN PERSON REQUIRED AFTER TELEPHONIC SCREENING Job Category: ADMINISTRATION & SUPPORT SERVICES Job Description : We are seeking a Business Analyst with experience across the full suite Oracle Financial applications in our Los Angeles, California office. This individual will be part of the local Projects Functional team and its efforts to support a Global implementation of Oracle and to continue the roll out of standardized Oracle Projects modules to new business units, both within the North America and internationally. Job Summary: * This position is responsible for assisting with the rollout and support of Oracle 11.5.10.2 Projects module including Costing, Billing, and Project Management with multi-org and multi-currency enabled. * This includes but is not limited to: needs analysis, documentation, design, process improvement, configuration, conversion, data cleanup, systems testing, training, resolving critical issues, regression testing, functional/configuration changes associated with change/enhancement requests, report development and support. * Experience implementing multiple business groups requiring foreign country localizations is required. Primary Responsibilities * Work with team to implement the Oracle Projects modules for North America and international operations. This includes gathering requirements and preparing documentation. * Work with other functional departments (HRMS / OTL and Finance) to design and implement new business processes. * Configure the Projects modules of Oracle as needed. * Work with other members of IT to define and test system security parameters including: responsibilities, request sets, and system access. * Plan and conduct regression tests, user acceptance tests, and converted data validations for multinational roll-outs. * Participate in conversion and data cleanup activities in conjunction with other functional teams. * Coordinate testing of system and business processes. * Provide support to business unit clients and work with team to resolve critical issues. * Identify, document and expedite resolution of Oracle functionality issues. Track and expedite Oracle SR (Service Requests) and assist with the planning and testing of updates and patches. * Implement functional/configuration changes associated with change/enhancement requests according to governance process. * Develop and maintain training materials and job aides. Conduct end user training. * Develop and maintain functional specifications for custom reports and processes utilizing Oracle and Discoverer. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Participation in at least four Oracle implementations supporting various financial modules. SQL knowledge and global experience a plus. * Strong Discoverer Experience/Knowledge * Three or more years of functional experience in a professional services environment preferred. * Good understanding of Oracle support processes and resources. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating to executives. * Demonstrated strong teamwork skills * Strong customer service skills * Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or related degree * This position could require some degree of domestic and international travel Thanks & Regards, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adi Sastry PRIMUS Global Services Inc.
