*Position : SQL Developer * *Location : Birmingham , AL * *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone then Face to Face* *Job Description* · This position is responsible for providing data integration production/operations support. · This position is responsible for working closely with the application developers, infrastructure department, team leads, and customers to ensure all data integration work assignments are completed with the highest level of quality and on time. · The incumbent must ensure databases/systems are developed, maintained and operated to attain high availability and business effectiveness. · The scope of work includes: design, development, delivery, implementation and support of databases and associated data integration technology; supporting/monitoring 7 X 24 real time systems and processes; staying current of emerging computer technologies, specifically those in the data services and business intelligence fields. · This position is responsible for developing expertise in the business area; knowledge of applications, systems, and data management techniques. · This position is responsible for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, FERC 888 and other regulatory requirements. *Job Responsibilities:* - Work closely with the application developers, infrastructure, team leads, and customers to ensure all data integration work assignments are completed on time and with the highest level of quality. - Provide regular updates to the customer and team lead on the status of the work plan, projects, etc., - Deliver results on project initiatives. - Provide solutions that meet/exceed client’s expectations for functionality, quality, cost & timeliness. - Maintain database systems through enhancements, maintenance, and recommend services to support the business units. - Ensure strategic initiatives, new technologies and tools are understood and integrated into daily work. - Ensure processes and appropriate documentation is in place around database design, implementation, testing and quality assurance. - Deliver business value and satisfy customers. - Directly support a 7X24 real-time operation. - Participate in on-call rotation. - Establish and maintain excellent working relationships/partnerships with clients. *Job Requirement* - Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred. - 4 years’ experience in SQL Server or Oracle database management systems. - 4 years’ experience in SQL programming. - 2 years’ experience in integration tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Oracle Service Bus, etc. preferred. - 2 years’ experience in reporting tools such as SSRS, OBIEE, Tableau, etc. preferred. - Knowledge of and experience with database tools & technologies such as PL/SQL, T-SQL, Toad, DBArtisan, etc. - Strong process design and analytical problem solving skills. - Deliver on customer commitments. - Follows technical standards and process methodologies. *Regards* *Ranjeet Kumar* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions * *Phone No. 302-261-3207 Ext - 112* *Email :ranj...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com <ranj...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com>* *Hang Out :vsgranjeet* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-HRMS-India" group.
