USG direct client is looking* Android Senior App Developer *at* Windsor, CT*


*Android Senior Developer in Mobile Agile team (Native App)*


*Android SDK with Java, Soap UI, Junit, Python, JSON, GSON, Mobile Design*


*Responsibilities with focus on Front End App Development*

·         Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and
ship new features

·         Work with outside data sources and API's

·         Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability
and general reliability

·         Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

·         Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies
to maximize development efficiency

*Technical/Functional Skills:-*



·         Solid and proven experience with Java stack. Senior level Java
developers new to Android preferred over Android developers without a solid
Java background.

·         Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

·         Experience with Android SDK. Please list any apps you have put in
one of the App Stores and be clear what your direct contribution was for
each of these apps. Screen layouts, HTTP requests, hardware interaction
(Camera, Location Services, etc.) and localization

·         Experience with the JSON and GSON a plus. Basic knowledge on
interaction with a middleware layer

·         Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

·         Solid understanding of OO concepts and MVC a must have

·         Experience with Soap UI, JUnit, and Python a plus

·         Knowledgeable of GIT and code reviews

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team

·         Ability to analyze a problem with little direction to determine
multiple solutions

·         Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures,
trends, and emerging technologies

*Experience Required:-*
