USG direct client is looking for *Business Analyst *at *Troy, MI*

*Job Description:-*

· Eliciting requirements from the Business Unit (BU) - In an agile
team, the developers will also participate in this exercise.

· Document the requirements and keep the documentation updated as
and when there is any change in the requirements. - In an agile team, some
of the senior developers will actually do this but the BA is still
responsible to make sure that the requirements are up to date.

· Analysis of requirements and translate business needs to
developers if needed. - Again in an agile team the developers are supposed
to ask any questions that they may have, directly to the BU but not all
developers are able to do this in a way that the BU can understand. In
those cases Bas will step in and do it for them.

· Translate technical issues to a format that Business Unit can
understand. - Same explanation as Point #3.

· Writing Functional test cases for the requirements. - Development
of code and the writing of test cases go hand in hand. When requirements
are gathered, the BA should be writing them in such a way that test cases
can be written for those requirements. We could use "Condition of
Satisfaction/s" for each requirement which could be translated to test
cases.

· For modifications in existing systems they should be able to come
up with the As-is and To-Be Flow Charts/Visio Diagrams.

· Senior Business Analysts should be able to scope any new projects
with the help of a Senior Developer.

· The actual testing can be done by testers if we have them in the
project but the BA should be available to help them in case of questions
and can even assist in testing. I suggest that until we are mature enough
in our SDLC methods, BAs should be helping the testers with the testing.
