USG direct client is looking for *Build/Release Engineer *at* Portland, ME* *Job Description:-* *Continuous Integration (CI) & Deployment Engineer Tech Champion Role Description* *Responsibilities* · Serve as the technical champion for CI Deployment Engineering practices across the organization, providing coaching, mentoring, and technical support for Engineering Excellence collaboratively · Create and maintain fully automated deployment processes for multiple .NET and Java products · Work closely with the Infrastructure Teams to introduce deployment and application monitoring automation · Work closely with the Application Architects to brainstorm, design and implement technical build and deployment solutions · Work with the QA Team to test new deployment software · Write deployment scripts · Produce clear installation and deployment guides for data center personnel · Establish a proactive application monitoring environment · Create an environment where product upgrades can take place with a zero, or near zero, maintenance window · Continual maintenance and improvement of automation · Coordinate day to day operations of Infrastructure group to support production, as well as products under development · Setup continuous integration for complex programs, including database integrations · Design, manage and execute tools and scripts to develop different versions of products on wide-range operating systems · Participate in the improvement, documentation, communication and enforcement of deployment engineering processes for software applications · Perform as technical liaison for Engineering Excellence and Operations on every aspect associated with software deployments · Maintain and manage close interpersonal and professional work relations with internal clients and peers *Requirements* · BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience · Prefer 5 years experience in deploy engineering, and configuration management · Understanding of the Release and Deployment Management process specified by the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process at the Foundation level · Cross-platform experience and the expertise to identify and resolve integration issues · Knowledge of system level and integration level testing · Must have advanced experience with IIS and deployment of .NET Frameworks to multiple environments and IIS/Application configuration and deployment automation is a plus · Must have experience with implementing and managing applications in an Application Load Balanced environment · Strong scripting skills, MS Build preferred, but UCD, PowerShell, ANT, & Perl experience acceptable · Proficient in MS Build and/or Urban Code Deploy for automated Build-Release processes · Solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts · Experience with CI Engines (Cruise Control .NET and TFS a plus) · Excellent communication skills both oral and written *Please share your updated resume at *akansh...@usgrpinc.com* or feel free to contact me at **614-401-5194* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-HRMS-India" group.
