Hi, First, Access maps datatypes this way: VARCHAR2(n) where n<= 255 is Text(n) VARCHAR2(n) where n>= 255 is Memo second, there are several bugs in the ORACLE-ODBC-Driver. Be sure to use the latest release, in your case 8.0.5.10. Or upgrade your client to Oracle 8.0.6 and the ODBC-Driver to 8.0.6.2. Mit freundlichen Grüßen i.A.
