Hello, I need help. I installed OEM and it works fine, that is connecting to database etc. By the way, I am running OEM on NT 4.0 with service pack 6.0 But then I installed diagnostic pack and wanted to use the Performance Manager, it is giving me a problem, when I try connecting to the database. The problem error is the following:- "VTM-005 Error connecting to server java.net.ConnectException:Connection refused." Please provide some solution to this problem. I checked up the documentation for this and it says my Data Gatherer location may not be the same, but I am specifying the "localhost" as the hostname. But in NT services folder, a strange thing is that the "OracleSydneyDataGatherer" service does not start.(Gives the error, Error 1067: Process terminated abnormally") My oracle SID name is Sydney. Are the 2 related and that is why I am not able to connect to the database in the Performance Manager? Please provide some suggestions how I can fix this problem.
