Dear DBA Gurus,
I have installed Oracle 8.1.6.0.0 enterprise edition on Sun Solaris
2.7. I have not applied any patches so far. The database shutsdown
abnormally and fails to open again when I startup returning the error
message ora-03113. The listener also goes down abnormally. I am not able
to decipher the problem. I observed the alertlog file with so many ORA -
7445 errors. I am also attaching the alertlog file for your perusal. I
would appreciate if anybody could help me in this regard.
