Hi All,

I asked Guy about it offline, and here is an excerpt from his reply. "It updates
for 8i, but nothing on 9i. ... It has a few completely new chapters and has some
improvements in organization. I would think that people who liked the first
edition would find it a useful upgrade."

I have added a link for this book to the Resources page on the Ixora web site at
http://www.ixora.com.au/resources/index.htm. A more substantial review will have
to wait until my copy gets here.

Hi,

I see that Guy has the second edition of this book out, published in
December of 2000. Has anybody seen it? Does it cover 8i (9i?).

We have copies of the first edition published in 1997. I am wondering if
there are sufficient additions to make it worthwhile to purchase the 2nd
edition. The Book Pool website says it has 630 pages vs. around 490 for the
first edition, so it looks like there is substantial stuff added.

Thanks for any comments.
