DBA's,
Does anyone have any tips for speeding up the import of a 10gb table with a long_raw
datatype. I've disabled the constraints, dropped the indexes, & put the database in
noarchivelog mode.
My import parameters are:
file=/TEMP_MOUNT/imp_cflo/cfuabprd_blob.dmp
log=cfuabprd_blob.log
fromuser=xxxxx
touser=xxxxxx
tables=REPORT_BLOBT
indexes=N
rows=Y
constraints=N
feedback=1000
buffer=2000000
ignore=Y
commit=Y
Hardware: Sun E10K 4cpu's 3gb ram
OS: solaris2.6
Oracle:8.1.6.2.1
TIA
...JIM...
