Thanks Steve,

I have a problem though, when running this script it tells me that the
sys.x_$bh table does not exists. Is there some script that I need to run to
create this table?

Cheers

Mark

Hi Mark,

Assuming you're thinking of 8i, try the ideal_cache_size.sql APT script.

Hi Guys,

Is there any way to tell if there is any free memory in the DB_BLOCK_BUFFER?

Any insight appreciated.

Regards

Mark
