I have database on NT4 size 700mg small size!! Some body Installed oracle8,
poorly all software and files on drive E with only one controller with 2
channels. Although my application is not so greate but running okay, But my
headace is my import is killing!! Its taking 10 hrs to import 6000
records!!!(every day inserting of data from third party import tool)
I find all hit ratios are okay i.e >95%, But I find some waits!!(removed
zero waits) I usually shutdown database for 3 or 4 months.
SQL> select class, count

(sorts(disk) / (sorts(memory) + sorts(disk))
= 1599/1599 + 10128116
=0.01578 OR 1.578e-2
Table Scans(Long Table) =50791
Table Scans(Short Table)=15332978
Non-Index Lookup Ratio = Table Scans (Long Tables) /
Table Scans (Long Tables) +
Table Scans (Short Tables)
=50791/15383769
This ratio indicates that 0.33 percent of all tables lookup are full table
scans!!!!!.
Any help will be appreciated.
