Yes even DDL uses rollback segments. After all, the dictionary is just a bunch of
tables like everything else...

The database is Oracle8.1.7. I used the syntax:
alter table foo drop column bar;
Why it gives run out of RBS error? Is alter table a
DDL? How does it use RBS?
