Has anyone experienced significant query failure after implementing PQO? In
the past I've implemented PQO with good success by plugging it onto an
extant working system without incident. But now I'm meeting quizzical
resistance to its implementation. (Running Oracle 8.1.6.3.0 with 4 CPU's and
4GB of memory. The entire database is well striped on an EMC array.) In your
opinion, how much testing should be done before implementing PQO on a
production system? With CBO in a mixed OLTP/DSS environment, anyone care to
enumerate the cost/benefits of PQO?

All opinions valued, whether humble or otherwise. :>)

TIA,
Steve Orr
