I open list messages as they arrive and I don't appreciate

cumulative
waste of my time in reading all of this nonsense.
If you all MUST ventilate at length about eating
chocolate-covered
ants,
let's adopt a convention of including "OFF-TOPIC" in the
message
header, at
least, so it's possible to filter them out.
And no, I am not a grouch, curmudgeon, in need of lightening
up,
etc.
Sometimes enough is enough, already.
