seema,
Once a week I run a script that reports the size and extends of all objects the the
database except SYSTEM or SYS. It shows me the allocated and free tablespaces and any
tables that have increased beyond a set number if extents. I then investigate the
growth and handle accordingly. I only need to check the space usage weekly because I
have planned the tables and tablespaces to hold 1 years projected data. We move the
majority of the data to archive read only tablespaces every six months. If you would
like I can set your the scripts off line and you can modify them as you please.
