AFAIK, parameter DB_DOMAIN is what appends to the database link name
(which must be DB_NAME of your remote database).

SQLWKS> show parameter db_domain
NAME                           TYPE    VALUE
------------------------------ ------- ------------------------------
db_domain                      string  WORLD
