Hi Helmut,

>From memory, 3 stages as below:
1) setup the new listener correctly in your listener.ora file 
suppose your first one is called listener and listens on port 1521
you might call the 2nd one l1526 and have it listen on port 1526

2) Use lsnrctl to start the second listener, that is:
lsnrctl start l1526
This will create service and start the listener

3) If required, set the new service to auto start.


Note that in lsnrctl the listener name defaults to listener. That is:
"lsnrctl status" will give you the status of the listener named listener
"lsnrctl status l1526" will give you the status of the listener named l1526
