Fyi,

I noticed that when my OEM repository NT machine hasn't been rebooted for a
while (about a week), the jrew.exe process runs very slowly. i.e. the OEM
Management Server login dialog takes a long time to appear on the desktop,
and the console takes over ten minutes to appear once I log in, etc.

If I reboot the NT server, however, Java still runs slowly, but it runs much
better.

Very strange behaviour. It's annoying to be sure, but I will have to live
with this for the time being. Memory leak? Memory fragmentation? Who
knows.

Another silly problem is that if I set the OracleManagementServer service to
autostart, it never does. But if I wait until the hard disk light stops
after a reboot, and start the service manually, it starts no problem. Is
there a way to set a delay on the service, to ensure it starts AFTER all the
other services are up and running?

This box is just a Pentium III PC, it doesn't have SCSI drives, only 1 CPU,
nothing fancy. We need something better but I have to live with it for now,
we just received 2 new Alphas and 4 Dell PowerEdge servers; I can't have
everything I want!
