Having the misfortune of having to administer Oracle databases backending 
Siebel, I have followed the Ellison vs. Siebel divorce carefully.  If 
Larry's not careful, all the Tom Siebel's of the world will keep inking 
deals with IBM and marketing DB2 as their primary platform.  To counter 
this, Larry is now giving Oracle's CRM solution away for free (Yeah, 
right.  Oh you want it to work?  Well, you'll have to buy these bells and 
whistles...).  The point is, the more Larry tries to transform Oracle 
into "not just a database company", the more I'm worried.  I don't know 
squat about DB2 or SQLServer...
