It depends. For instance, 'analyze index validate structure' takes out
'shared' lock on the table (preventing inserts/deletes/updates), while
'analyze index compute/estimate statistics' does not.

Compute option locks a table, but 'estimate' doesn't
Anyone have a definitive answer.
