Yeah, but software is accomplishing a lot more now than it did back then.
It's interesting to me, I know I haven't been around computers maybe as long
as most of this list, but I have come up with something.  It seems to me
that the industry is finally at a point where the software (general) is now
trying to catch up to the hardware.  Used to be I couldn't buy programs
because my machine was too much of a wuss, now I can buy anything I want!!

Because in the past, well-written software used to fit on one or two 320K
diskettes.

None of that bloated-code API, object-oriented nonsense that just lets
