Since the syntax of the command to do this is
alter database backup controlfile to trace;
you must grant "alter database" privilege.

I am trying to grant a user the privilege to backup the control file to
trace. I cant seem to find a system privilege that does this. I have run
select distinct privilege from dba_sys_privs
but cant see a privilege to backup the control file. Can anyone tell me
where I might find the complete list of system privileges?
