Hi,
I am trying to connect from oracle to sqlserver using oracle oledb
but when i try to execute the follwing command from sqlplus i am
getting error:
SQL> select * from "dbo"."EMPLOYEES"@MSOLEDB;
select * from "dbo"."EMPLOYEES"@MSOLEDB
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name
the tnsnames.ora entry looks like this:
MSOLEDB =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = ora2000)(PORT = 1521))
)
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SID = GCORA2000)
)
(HS=OK)
)
sql server name is ora2000.
what i have to change.
