You can perform this task also from Oracle, protocol.ora which is well 
documented in Oracle documentation.

I use 8.0.5 db and aplications 11.0.28 . I restricted ip based by 
webserver. But  I want to restrict by OS.
my OS solaris 2.7. Also I put discharging ip under etc/hosts .
Do you know other way restricted by ip over OS.
