[Larry Ellison] is putting up $150 million to create an institute to study the effects of technology on politics and economics. But instead of cultivating a relationship with a particular school, Ellicon has made the offer to both Harvard adn Stanford universities - playing the academic titans off each other while he waits for them to make their best offers." hmmm.
