Hi Gurus
Please could you shed some light.
Server is a Compaq Proliant 8500 - RAID 5
Oracle 8.1.6
Windows 2000
The new changes to the system is - I have converted to the MTS listener
service(server), one day ago.
Just a short while ago - the database is still warm - she crashed with the
following error:
In the <sid>CKPT.TRC file

and in the <sid>ALT.LOG

DBW0: terminating instance due to error 472
This is the first time I have ever seen such a error. Has anyone else
experienced it.
