thinks they can handle it, by all means, but it would be sad day if someone
went into it and thought it was a good quick get me up and found out they
left more confused and probably lacking the desire to continue that path.

Once you buy the book, or pay for the course, who cares if you don't come
back? They have your money. The business is not based on return customers,
they are aiming for people who want to make a quick career transition.
As for satisfaction guaranteed, I don't know what the customer-protection
laws are like in the U.S. but reading some of the software disclosure
legalese on some CD shrinkwrap, there don't appear to be any laws to protect
consumers. It's good for the economy! We can't afford to slow down
industry output...
To be fair, it's a competitive market for training schools. To stay afloat,
they end up having to market the impossible.... like some software
companies.
I always believed that vulnerable people tend to get taken advantage of
because people only do what's right if the consequences are worse if they do
what is wrong. It's not a will or character issue, it has more to do with
entropy - to conserve energy, people tend to take the easy route. They run
on autopilot most of the time, on habits.
