Listers,
I went to the Oracle Press section of Osborne
(http://www.osborne.com/oracle/index.html). Prominently displayed is the
book "Oracle High-Performance SQL Tuning" by Donald Burleson. Anyone have
any comments on the book? I have recommended Guy Harrison's "Oracle SQL
High-Performance Tuning" to a number of folks and wonder how Burleson's book
compares and if it would be beneficial for someone to have both books. I've
had a chance to glance through Harrison's second edition but have yet to buy
it.
Also, maybe it's just me, but it strikes me a bit odd that Burleson's book
would be so similarly named as Guy Harrison's book.
Guy Harrison: Oracle SQL High-Performance Tuning
Donald Burleson: Oracle High-Performance SQL Tuning
