Kumanan,

Yes, you can easily do this as long as you have the
datafiles for the system tablespace and the datafiles
for any RBS tablespaces used by online RBS's.

This procedure is documented in metalink note: 96197.1
"Recovering a Dropped Table from a Full Database
Backup"

The recovery process will skip datafiles that are
offline or missing (i.e. by recreating the controlfile
and omitting the files that haven't been restored).

They will still belong to the db, of course, until the
tablespace(s) to which they belong are dropped.  So
after opening the db if you attempt to access any of
the blocks located in the omitted datafile you'll get
an ORA-376 "datafile not available."
