As someone said, probably that a lot of extents.
However the main deal here is that you could lock the
users with an ST lock. Therefore, you mustn't try it
where all the users are in. And also you could try
with a truncate table....reuse storage, and then
issuing several alter table deallocate of little
chunks each one. Sometimes it is better when you don't
want to block users.
