IIRC, Oracle uses one of two methods for authentication into the DB;
either Oracle-specific passwords, or OS ones. I was wondering if it is
possible to write a custom authentication method to use 3rd party
authentication methods, and if so, where I would look for information on
this (books, URLs etc). Thanks.
