desc dbms_job

I believe that this will have some effect:

exec dbms_job.isbroken(:job_id,true); 

- and - you could kill the SNPn process that is executing the job. 
Use orakill for best results.
Just killing the session is too ineffective.
If you just kill the SNPn process without breaking the job first, the
next SNPn process will start it back up again.
