can be done by changing the contents of the files under
'$ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/mesg',
BUT not recommended.
Don't know exactly as never tried.

Does anyone know how to change the message that Oracle displays when an

I am sure that Oracle Corp. will really frown on this, but can I change
"table
or view does not exist" to something else?
