Roland,
Don't have an example to provide you, but here's something you might look
into. Among the PL/SQL supplied packages there's one named UTL_TCP. With a
little knowledge of (or reading up on how) FTP works, you should be able to
use this package to open a TCP/IP connection and conduct FTP events.
