You got me wrong. I didn't vote against "cold blue steel", although it fails miserably from the efficiency point of view when compared with neutron bomb or even a good, old napalm carpet bombing. I just don't intend to change my lifestyle, that's it. I don't want to use any of the war time survival techniques that April has mentioned in her post. I do agree that the retribution has to be sufficient to set an example and will probably have to wipe out a good portion of the offending nation, otherwise, the evil will never stop. Anyway, Collin Powell and G.W. look competent and I think that they know what they are doing. Shall they ever need DBA advice, I'm sure that they'll join this list and discuss the avaliable options with all of us. -----Original Message----- Sent: Wednesday, September 12, 2001 5:06 PM To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L Hmmmmm, yet terrorism is a global issue just as WWII was. Many countries have been hit by these bastards. Hit and run attempts to knock out capabilities. Several innocent lives lost, even before yesterday. I'll get back to fixing Oracle issues after I apply some more of my favorite aftershave, Hoppe's #9. Nothing better than clean blued steel. You will not have blackouts, short supply of food, air raid alerts fuel rationing, compulsory draft and other goodies. This was an act of barbarism of unprecedented and unimaginable proportions but it is very far from the war in sense of WWII. I believe that the best thing that can be done against terrorism is to go on with our lives and keep fixing oracle problems. God and Larry Ellison know that there are many. -- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com -- Author: Gogala, Mladen INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fat City Network Services -- (858) 538-5051 FAX: (858) 538-5051 San Diego, California -- Public Internet access / Mailing Lists -------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
