use the ADD_MONTHS function giving it a -1 parameter:
select sysdate, add_months(sysdate,-1) from dual;
This returned :
9/17/01 11:37:47 AM 8/17/01 11:37:47 AM

Can someone tell me how to subtract 1 month from the current date? Also,
where can I find answers and examples to this type of coding question?
Thanks!
