Dear All, We have an application that was performing very bad when we migrated a remote database from 7.3.4.40 to 8.1.6.3.0. SInce we do not have time to tune all queries issued by the application we thought that stored outlines is the way to go. The application connect tos the remote side throught database links. We have created a trigger upon login of a specific user on remote site that actually alters the session to use the outlines. However nothing happens (i.e the trigger executes correctly but stored outlines are not used). Your insight views will be greatly appreciated.
