Perhaps preserve the CURRENT redo logs so that after the archived ones bring you up to their last time, you can use the currents to come up to the last moments?

 

(I've not tried this exact scenario though)

The control files are all intact and the database is open.
Only one datafile (for an offline tablespace) is missing.
