Hello all, I am interested to know what are the differeces between Oracle 8i and 9i and is there any document that explains what key enhancements are made in Oracle 9i, eg not present in 8i. Also would like to know what has changed in Oracle 9i, like Real Application Clusters (RAC) has been termed what was once known as OPS in Oracle 8i.
I also want to know what works (as far as inhouse scripts are concerned) in Oracle 8i and may not work in Oracle 9i, until some enhancements are made to the scripts.
