We are trying to install Oracle Client Tools from the Oracle8i Enterprise Edition CD on Windows NT 4.0 Workstation with Service Pack 6. We have just bought new machines and cannot install the client tools on any of our new machines but can on old machines with the same OS. The problem occurs on the initial splash screen. The install starts off fine and when we click on 'Install/Deinstall Products' nothing happens. The mouse icon changes to the timer for about 5 seconds and that is it!! Can anyone point me in the right direction?
