Tony,

I don't have them handy, but there are a few good notes on Metalink about
Deadlocks, and some of them go into detail on how to read the "deadlock
graph", which is a good starting point for determining the cause. I also
found some helpful info and comments at www.ixora.com.au (Steve Adams).
