I have used it a number of times to remotely connect to servers . It makes a very good alternate to the more expensive products for most basic system administration and dba functions. I routinely use it to do Oracle installs with 8i.
Performance is generally good however screensavers are a no-no and if you are connecting to an NT box I suggest lowering the resolution to 800*600 and make sure that if the NT servers are running a screensaver it is only one of the simple ones Marquee or some such

Platform : Server solaris 5.6
Client : win 98
Can it be used instead of Xwindows?
Does this work in a low speed networks?
any ideas ? pros ? cons?
