Your Rollback Segment is NOT large enough.

You don't have to shut down the DB just yet.

You can remove ALL your test data without
an INSERT (which creates RollBack entries)
by using TRUNCATE TABLE x where 'x' is the name of your Table.

Hi

I have created a test table and I have inserrted about
50000 recoeds in it.

when I want to delete even one record ofthis table
receive the following errors:

ORA-01562: failed to extend rollback segment number 3
ORA-01650: unable to extend rollback segment R02 by 64
in tablespace RBS

and also cannot shutdown the DB.

Could someone please tell me what is the problem?

Thanks;

E.
