A developer is having problems with Forms 6i in debug mode.

He can load a large form and run it, but when he tries to run it in debug
mode the form hangs before he even sees the debug window.

He is wondering if anyone has experienced problems with the Form Builder
debug mode against what he calls "the new procedure-based programming
technique" for forms. He is wondering if Forms debug mode was thoroughly
tested against this new way of building forms before Forms 6i was released.

I don't know what he is talking about, but Oracle Support asked us to send
them scripts to rebuild the tables the form is accessing - which is most of
an 800M database with confidential information.

Has anyone else experienced problems running large 6i forms in debug mode?

I am posting here because my e-mails to the ODTUG listserv never show up,
they are probably weeding me out because I am not a member. It's too bad,
because one of Oracle's lead developers is on that listserv and he won't get
to see this question.

(I am a bit snarky this morning. Not a big change, my wife would say).
